Planning to post your New Year's Resolution? Don't.
About six hours before the clock would strike twelve and usher in the
year of the sea dragon, I was drafting a blog post. It was my list of
things I promise to do in 2012 also known as The New Year's
Resolution. When I was about to hit publish, I remembered a TED Talk by Derek
Sivers. It was about life goals and the case for NOT telling anyone
about it. So, that new year's resolution blog post I was talking about? Gone to
the trash. The list is going to stay private on the iPad. And if you're planning to post what you plan for 2012, at least think
twice about it.
